In his blog post Overdoing the interface metaphor Marco Arment shows the ugly side of interfaces that mimic real life objects in a silly calculator interface - as a counter example he shows Soulver.app, which does not make this mistake.

That reminded me of another slightly more specialized calculator … FrameCalculator! Marco would agree I guess.
